We are looking for a Technical System Analyst for our team. This candidate serves as a liaison between solution architecture, business, and technical teams to ensure the successful delivery of the business technology solutions.
Collaborates with Application Development teams and project teams regarding new systems and systems enhancements as outlined on the Solution Blueprint recommended by Enterprise and/or Solution Architects.
Participates in the design, development, and implementation of business technical solutions for the required enhancements as needed.
Translates solution blueprint and business requirements to functional and technical requirements.
Provides business and technical detail expertise to delivery teams in support of the project assignment.
Organizes and presents ideas in a convincing and compelling manner.
Maintains and enhances knowledge with federal mandate, BCBSA mandates and health insurance transactions and standards (HIPAA x12, HL7, FHIR, etc..)
Understands and enhances knowledge of the interactions between systems, applications, and services within the environment.
Demonstrates an understanding of technological trends and apply this knowledge to bring solutions to business units supported to enhance the enterprise’s competitive edge.
Must have knowledge of health insurance business processes.
Working knowledge of HIPAA EDI (837I/P/D, 277CA, 270/ 271, 276/ 277, 278, 834, 835)
Solid understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
Worked in an Agile environment
Excellent communication skills
Knowledge of different technologies, development languages, and proficient with development tools, and IDEs:
o Web Services and Web APIs (SOAP, RESTful)
o Microsoft Visual Studio, SQL Server
o Microsoft Reporting Services, Tableau
o Database queries
o Google Cloud Platform
