Role Description: The IT Trainer will effectively communicate technical training company wide. These sessions should be clear and engaging allowing IT to share technical features, updated and capabilities throughout the organization.
Tasks:
Prepare training modules, end-user documentation, guides, and manuals to educate end-users on all IT offerings
Disseminate technical information in concise, easy-to-understand language for a non-technical audience
Serve as an influencer for IT changes and new technology as introduced within ***
Display technical accuracy in writing end-user documentation
Create documentation after a thorough collaboration with subject matter experts and technical staff
Assist Service Desk agents in creating documentation as needed
Ability to take existing and potential content and improve it
Create product manuals with screenshots and tutorials
Write documentation for internal teams such as Service Desk, Deskside, Engineering, etc.
Use Organizational Change Management (OCM) skills to drive adoption, awareness and utilization of changes across the company
Conduct user feedback sessions and surveys
Required:
Bachelor s degree or relevant work experience
7+ years of proven experience in technical training
Understand and explain complex technical concepts
Strong research and analytical skills
Ability to undertake multiple projects and deliver on tight deadlines
Excellent technical writing skills
Excellent verbal communication skills
Strong working knowledge of MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Publisher, etc)
Detail-oriented
Organizational Change Management skills required to effectively communicate and implement process changes
Ability to develop collaborative relationships with customers, partners, and developers across the business at all levels
Able to manage relationships with peers and managers as it relates to support and services
Ability to navigate complexity and create collaborative, cross-functional solutions
Strong communication, presentation, and relationship management skills
High degree of organizational skills
Ability to effectively operate with high energy and flexibility in a fast-paced, constantly evolving team environment
