Job Description .Net Developer

Regular support – will be handling .Net support tickets and general support to the team (database focused)

.Net Developer will work on technical solutions for the Core Self-Funded business for Independence Family of Companies to transact business electronically. The Developer will work with the Business Systems Analyst and the Technology Leads to understand business needs and complete their assigned tasks. The Developer will develop and maintain Applications and APIs built on .Net framework that enable business functionality. Angular JS development experience is a plus. The Developer is expected to work on their assigned tasks that include development, unit test, functional test support, and production implementation. Active participation in daily scrums within the Agile framework is expected.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Develop software solutions which support the business data requirements.
Ensure compliance with security practices within the DevOps process.
Participate in on-call support duties and daily scrum meetings.
Develop web applications using .Net framework
Develop web pages within the Angular framework.
Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and WCF Services.
Develop and maintain database objects.
Support application testing and production implementation as required
Stay current with industry content management system best practices and standards
Performs other duties as assigned

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor s Degree or equivalent with 5+ years of relevant work experience in web development or distributed systems integration.
Highly skilled in ASP.NET MVC, SQL Server, Entity Framework and WCF Services.
Highly skilled in web interface technologies: HTML, JavaScript, Angular, REST API, SOAP, and XML technologies.
Advanced understanding and experience in OO design
Ability to work within an Agile Methodology
Demonstrate analytical and problem-solving skills.
Adhere to enterprise application architecture policies and standards.
Adhere to enterprise security standards and practices.
Strong team player, excellent oral and written communication skills.
Ability to communicate effectively with both business and technical teams.
Fast starter and effectively deliver with limited supervision. Ability to work under pressure and meet aggressive deadlines.
Ability to multi-task with several concurrent issues and projects.
Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
Health domain knowledge is a plus.
