Job Summary:

The Scrum Coordinator performs a wide variety of team-related duties including sprint planning, project status monitoring, reporting and documentation. The scrum coordinator also runs the scrum events including, but not limited to sprint planning, standups, backlog refinement. The incumbent works closely with all project stakeholders to schedule and organize meetings and team-related events and scrum ceremonies, update project plans and schedules and consistently report on sprint status. Additionally, the Scrum Coordinator facilitates the delivery of on time and budget deliverables that consistently adhere to quality standards by providing direction to the project team.

Responsibilities:
Coordinate complex technical projects
Own and run agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, backlog refinement, standups and so on
Facilitate and direct communication within assigned areas and on an organization-wide level on issues such as project scope, budget, resources and provide timely updates to appropriate stakeholders
Facilitate the communication of accomplishments and strategic milestones
Develop and manage the roadmap and product backlog in collaboration with the team and product owner
Monitor and document project progress
Track project status, generate project reports and provide project status updates to appropriate stakeholders
Monitor work progress and delegate specific team assignments
Work with Product Owner to keep track of project timelines and deliverables; aid in taking corrective action as needed
Act as a point of contact for all project-related inquiries; escalate issues when appropriate
Support the team rules of Scrum, eliminate impediments and lead the team in efforts for process improvement and project innovation
Adhere to ethical standards and comply with the laws and regulations applicable to your job function
Experience and Skills Education, Certifications, or Special Licenses:
Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and abilities can be acquired is necessary
Relevant Years of Experience:
Minimum 2 years of experience as a project coordinator in an IT environment
Other Requirements:
Agile / Scrum certification or similar
Demonstrated project coordination skills
Demonstrated ability to aid the creation and review of project specific documentation
Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
Proven ability to work effectively on multiple projects simultaneously
